Bahasa Indonesia in Context - Common Illnesses (Eps 12)

Welcome to the twelfth episode of our video series,” BAHASA INDONESIA IN CONTEXT.”

Like all languages, Indonesian words and phrases can take on entirely different meanings when used in different situations. With this in mind, each video in our series demonstrates how INDONESIAN PHRASES are used in one particular setting and provides definitions of those phrases when used in that specific setting.

 

IN THIS VIDEO, we look at INDONESIAN WORDS USED TO DESCRIBE COMMON ILLNESSES

and language typically associated with "NOT FEELING WELL."

As the video opens, we see that many of the staff at LSI are suffering from ailments.

Yulian has a toothache and stomachache, Aji has a backache,

Sharine has a fever, and Chitra is coughing and sneezing.

But after taking some medicine and getting some rest,

most of the staff seem to be on the road to recovery.
