After having learned the previous expressions, sama sekali, kurang enak badan, and turut prihatin, we hope that you are more comfortable in using Bahasa Indonesia expressions in your daily life.
Our next expression is “Paling Tidak.”
Let's take a look at the following example:
“Fitur di laptopku biasa saja, tapi paling tidak dapat berfungsi untuk kebutuhan kerjaku.”
“The features in my laptop are nothing special, but at least it can function for my needs at work.”
As you can see from the example above, the expression paling tidak is used by Indonesians to express the English phrase “at least." This is a common expression you will hear among locals and we encourage you
to practice using it so that you won’t forget about it!
To watch more on how you can use this expression, watch the video below.
Aside from paling tidak, we have already discussed many other Indonesian expressions, including luar biasa, terus terang, makan waktu, biasa saja, masuk akal, sekarang juga, and oh...begitu.
Selamat berlatih!
